The City of Ottawa provides water treatment and distribution,
wastewater collection and treatment, and electric generation
and distribution services.
Utility online web payments:
The new online website does not offer the option of check payments.
We also offer a program called ACH. This option allows you to have the billed amount withdrawn from your account on the due date. Please contact the utilities department for a form or click on ACH Payments Document
Also for Late Fees:
Please be advised, effective immediately, late fees will be applied at 5:00pm on the due date listed on your City of Ottawa Utility bill. Drop Box Payments: To avoid late fees on a due date, after 3:00 pm, please bring your utility payment into the Utility office for processing.

Customer Request for Disconnect of Utilities
To start water and electric service please visit the front desk at City Hall on the first floor.
For buyers: Please bring a valid I.D. to City Hall
For renters: Please bring a valid I.D. along with a current lease agreement to City Hall
To cancel water or electric services please fill out the Customer Request for Disconnect of Utilities form and return to City Hall.
